Metal detector is an app which detects the presence of metal nearby. Metal detectors are useful for finding metal inclusions hidden within objects, or metal objects buried underground.
This app measures magnetic field using a magnetic sensor that is built into your device.
The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 30 to 60 µT(micro tesla). When any metal(steel, iron) is near, magnetic field level will increase.
Make sure you are not around your computer or TV or Other electronic devices which can interfere with the readings of the magnetic sensor making Metal detector less powerful that it can be.

Steps of calibration:
Hold your device in your hand, wave it in the air in the pattern of a figure-eight a few times and then set the device back down on a flat surface.
** Metal Detector cannot detect gold, silver and coins made by copper. They are classified as non-ferrous metal that has no magnetic field.
** Metal Detector require a magnetic sensor (magnetometer). If this app does not work properly, please check your android device specifications.
